Noormarkku Club House celebrates its 100-year journey

Noormarkku Club House in the Ahlström Works in Pori turned 100 years old on April 19, 2024. The birthday program included an invitational event, the opening of an exhibition, and a celebratory dinner. The Club has served as a meeting place for people for several generations and has played a significant role in creating regional community spirit.

The Club House was born a hundred years ago as a meeting place especially for the employees of the Ahlström’s Head Office, including officials and their families, as well as for various communities nearby. Over the past century, the house has been the venue for establishing associations, hosting weddings and funerals, hosting lively gatherings, and enjoying delicious meals.

An exhibition showcasing the hundred-year history of the house opened at the Club on its birthday, and visitors can explore it on self-guided basis whenever the restaurant is open.
